Shakespeare's most notorious villains, monsters, and tortured characters do more than speak verse on the stage of Redlands Shakespeare Festival in California. They also haunt the orchards and gardens of a private estate in Redlands'posh south side at Halloween.
The RSF will present its eighth annual Haunted Grove Experience on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27 and 28. This year's experience is at a new location, 11738 Overcrest Ave., in Redlands, and will feature 90-minute guided tours through classic haunts and vignettes and a four-course meal served at stations throughout the tour with free-flowing wine. Tours begin every half hour starting at 6:30 p.m., with the final tour leaving at 8:30 pm.
This annual fund-raising event is organized and conducted by the RSD board of directors and members of the Festival Company. Tour sizes are limited and tickets sell out quickly each year. You can purchase your tickets online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/270291.
The Haunted Grove Experience is not suitable for children. Guests must be at least 21 years old.
